NTT DoCoMo continues to create a common platform for advanced mobile multimedia by developing markets outside Japan and by establishing joint ventures that promote the i-mode service.

Since E-plus in Germany launched their i-mode service in 2002, i-mode has been expanding its reach in Asia, Europe, Middle East and Oceania. Today, more than 7.2 million users in 17 countries outside Japan are enjoying i-mode services in each country.

NTT DoCoMo is thus sharing its technology and know-how and building relationships to support content diversity for the maximum benefit of subscribers.
